WHY I BUILT THIS
Chelsea didn't start this firm because she loves spreadsheets. (Though she does.)
I didn't learn about money in a classroom. I learned it on a city bus, from a driver who pulled out a piece of paper and showed two teenagers exactly how money works. Five minutes. That's it.
Years later, I walked into a lawyer's office for legal help. The office was chaos. The lawyer was miserable. I asked if he'd thought about retiring. He said, "No. I'll die at my desk." He wasn't joking.
Business owners, law firm owners included, aren't failing because they're bad at business. Nobody ever taught them how to read their own numbers, and they're too busy running the thing to figure it out alone.
Profit Kept is what I wished existed a decade ago.
