 When You Need This
  • You're setting up payroll for the first time

  • Deductions and contractor payments have gotten complicated to manage alone

Questions Before You Get Started

Do I need Payroll Setup if my firm already has a provider? No. Setup is for firms starting payroll for the first time or actually switching providers. If your current provider is working fine, you likely just need ongoing Processing.

What happens during setup if my firm is switching providers? I handle account creation, state and government registration, and employee onboarding, so nothing falls through the cracks in the transition.

Do you handle both W-2 staff and 1099 contractors? Yes. Employee payroll, contractor payments, and deduction management are all part of ongoing processing.

Will this connect to my firm's bookkeeping and trust accounting? Payroll connects to your firm's bookkeeping, so your monthly reports stay accurate. It runs entirely separate from your trust account, since payroll and client trust funds should never touch.
